(From the John Brunner campaign)
During Friday’s debate and countless times throughout the campaign, Todd Akin claims to have been fighting against ObamaCare for three years. Yet Jo Mannies, a reporter for the St. Louis Beacon in 2009 reported that Todd Akin was “working on a bill that he plans to introduce that would require all Americans to have health insurance.”
A bill that requires all Americans to have health insurance is the individual mandate — just like in ObamaCare — that the Supreme Court recently declared as a tax.

If Todd Akin truly opposed the mandate, then why did he work to propose a mandate, just like the one in ObamaCare that would force all Americans to have health insurance?
Simply put, in 2009, just when liberals in Congress like Sen. Claire McCaskill were ramming ObamaCare through the House and Senate, Todd Akin was working to introduce a bill that would mandate every American have health insurance — just like ObamaCare’s mandate.
“It’s simply tragic that as true conservatives were fighting the individual mandate, Todd Akin was working to introduce a new bill that would force all Americans to have health insurance,” said Todd Abrajano, Brunner spokesman. “We need a congressman who will fight to repeal ObamaCare, not work to push another bill requiring Americans to buy health insurance.”

You all are wacked. You are spinning a web of lies. You know the truth but refuse to accept it and have turned the simple truth of one thing into a gross lie--all in the name of winning. You will soon regret this path you have taken.
