McCaskill: I don't have to tell the people of Joplin why the federal government is important

This is the video I shot of Sen. Claire McCaskill's speech at the opening of Jasper County Democratic Headquarters in Joplin Monday night.

During the speech she takes a few shots at her opponents, though not by name,  and she spoke in favor of compromise and not the polarization that has been taking place in Washington and across the country.
