ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IS EXPECTED. * TORRENTIAL RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR COULD QUICKLY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING OF STREAMS...LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS. THE FLASH FLOODING MAY BE SIGNIFICANT IN SOME AREAS LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. THOSE CAMPING OR FLOATING ON AREA RIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RISING WATER LEVELS. ADDITIONAL RISES AND FLOODING MAY ALSO DEVELOP ON MAIN STEM RIVERS. THOSE TRAVELING DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE MONDAY MORNING SHOULD BE ALERT FOR ONGOING FLOODING. Definitely looks like water is going to be a problem for the morning commute tomorrow.
I saw that warning and just KNEW you'd find some way to spin it. I wish someone would be the voice of reason and recognize the faults with each entity:
1. Yes, there has been a lot of rain lately. Yes, the weather could have done less flooding. Roofs and bridges are failing to do their job to keep water out of our homes and cars.
2. Turner has lost credibility due to repeated thunderstorms that he never takes responsibility for. He has forgotten the golden rule of meteorology: The weatherman is always wrong.
3. I forgot what number 3 is.
Will someone please give me the straight scoop on this "precipitation" in as unbiased manner as possible so that we can all try to fit under the same umbrella?
