Carthage man charged with shooting up home, nearly hitting 3-year-old pleads not guilty

A Carthage man who shot up a home with a semi-automatic weapon and narrowly missed his three-year-old daughter June 28 pleaded not guilty during a video arraignment today in Jasper County Circuit Court.

Johnnie Lee Frost, 32, is charged with domestic assault in the first degree, endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Frost's next hearing is 9 a.m. July 26.
