Joplin R-8 Safety and Security Committee to discuss goals for upcoming school year

The Joplin R-8 Board of Education's Safety and Security Committee will discuss safety goals for the 2017-2018 school year when it meets 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Memorial Education Building.

Other items on the agenda include a review of principals and directors safety/security checklist, agreement with law enforcement, and plans for a safety audit for the upcoming school year.
