Ed Emery: Greitens did not play politics with State Board of Education

In his weekly podcast, Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, says Gov. Eric Greitens was not involved in any hanky-panky in his successful firing of Commissioner of Education Margie Vandeven.

It's just the "institutional" people, who think so, Emery said, lumping board members, administrators and "some teachers" in that category.

Emery says he talked with three of the people Greitens appointed to the State Board of Education and they said Greitens did not pressure them to fire VanDeven.
