Former Lamar High School football coach Scott Bailey, who won a record seven straight state championships coaching at the school from which he graduated, has resigned after one year coaching at Jefferson City.
KOMU in Columbia reports Bailey resigned for personal reasons after coaching Jefferson City to a 3-7 record.
Bailey coached Lamar for 14 years compiling a 151-41 record.
