Carl Junction R-1 COVID-19 positives, students under quarantine more than triple in one week

The number of Carl Junction R-1 students testing positive for COVID-19 and being placed under quarantine more than tripled, according to statistics posted Thursday on the district website.

Twenty-one students and 22 staff members are in isolation, while 208 students and 23 staff members are under quarantine.

When the district posted its statistics the previous week, only six students and 10 staff members were in in isolation, while 99 students and four staff members were under quarantine.
