Five Carthage R-9 students and five junior high school staff members have tested positive for COVID-19, according to statistics posted on the district's website Wednesday.
Three Carthage High School students tested positive, as well as one apiece from the junior high school and the intermediate center.
A total of 190 students and eight staff members are under quarantine.
The staff members include three from Fairview Elementary, two apiece from Mark Twain Elementary and the high school and one from the Sixth Grade Center.
The number of students in each building under quarantine are listed below:
