Five COVID-19 deaths reported in Jasper County, 104 cases in past 24 hours


The Jasper County Health Department reported the deaths of five people due to COVID-19.

The deaths bring the county's total to 69, including 15 in the past two weeks.

According to a news release issued this afternoon, the victims were men in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s and a female in her 60s.







The Health Department confirmed 104 cases in the past 24 hours and have 473 active cases, including 20 who have been hospitalized.

The county has had nearly 1,000 cases in the past two weeks.
