Webb City cancels classes next week due to increase in area COVID-19 cases

(From the Webb City R-7 School District)

Due to the continued increase of COVID-19 cases in our area, the District has decided that Monday, November 23rd, and Tuesday, November 24th will not be in-person school days.

Instead, instruction will occur at home through a method of instruction designed by your child’s teacher.

It is the district’s goal to use this time for additional cleaning throughout the buildings and on buses. This time will also allow students and staff who are currently isolated or on quarantine to return after the holiday break.

Students will receive more information regarding instruction for these dates later this week.

As always, we are encouraging you to continue following all recommended health and safety protocols by the Jasper County Health Department and CDC during this time.

The District intends to return to in-person learning on Monday, November 30th.
