Joplin R-8 Board scheduled to buy audio-visual equipment for JHS Performing Arts Center, hire part-time counselor


The Joplin R-8 Board of Education is expected to approve a new audio-visual system for the Performing Arts Center when it meets 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Education Building.

Prior to the open session, the board will meet in closed session for personnel reasons. Board documentation indicates the members will vote on hiring Patricia Murray as a part-time temporary counselor working at the Roi S. Wood Building.
