Former KODE anchor Jennifer Penate began her career in the Joplin market, one of the smallest in the nation, and will soon be working in a top 10 market.
Penate, who worked at KODE from 2011 to 2017 told her Facebook followers last week that she is leaving WFLA in Tampa, Florida after three years. Between her time at KODE and the Florida position, Penate was an anchor at KNWA in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Tampa market is the 13th biggest in the U. S.
Penate's next job will be in the number seven market Boston, where she will work at WCVB. Her final day at KFLA was Tuesday.
