Eric Burlison: One year of President Trump's second term- the results speak for themselves

(From Seventh District Congressman Eric Burlison)

Tuesday marked one year of President Trump’s second term, and the results speak for themselves. Through the One Big Beautiful Bill, Republicans delivered historic tax relief, strengthened border security, and restored work requirements in welfare programs while beginning to roll back the policies that drove up prices for working families.

Going forward in 2026, Republicans must advance the Republican Study Committee reconciliation agenda to make the American dream affordable again by lowering housing, healthcare, and energy costs.

March For Life and defending the unborn

On Friday, thousands of Americans gathered for the annual March for Life to affirm a simple truth: Life is a sacred gift from God, worthy of protection from the moment of conception.

I was grateful to receive an A+ rating on Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s 2025 Scorecard, reflecting my consistent record of defending unborn children and supporting mothers. As we move forward in 2026, I will continue working to advance my bill H.R. 722, the Life at Conception Act, which seeks to provide legal recognition and protection for life from the moment of conception.

I will always fight to protect the lives of the unborn.

Ending Obamacare's grip on American health care

I recently joined Reps. Kevin Hern (OK-01) and Michael Cloud (TX-27) on the Republican Study Committee’s (RSC) Right to the Point podcast to explain why Obamacare cannot be fixed and must be replaced. Fifteen years after its passage, the law has failed to reduce the number of uninsured, doubled premiums, and limited access to care.

Republicans are advancing comprehensive reforms, including provisions from my MAHA proposal, through the RSC’s second reconciliation framework to rebuild a patient-centered healthcare system from the ground up.

This quack of a politician actually had the gall to admit being complicit to this catastrophic "big ugly bill" that will bankrupt the country and cause countless death to ordinary Americans. History will not be kind to the magats.

What about the Trump Administration failing to comply with the bipartisan law Congress passed and President Trump himself signed requiring the release of the Epstein file? The release of these 2 million files are over due, the law is being violated.

2 million Epstein files.

Many would like to see them.

It is the law.

What do you plan to do about this violation of the law Congressman Burlison? Hold some hearings? Make a statement? Hold a press conference? More banjo picking and grinning?

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

"At least 30 current and former immigration agents have been charged or convicted of violent offenses, according to a new report.

Two advocacy groups, the Ohio Immigrant Alliance and the Pacific Antifascist Collective, published an updated list on Monday of immigration officers, all of whom are men, who have been accused of various violent offenses. The list shows that all but one officer has been charged with sex offenses, and two-thirds committed sexual crimes against children. It covers agents from both Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol.

Some of the offenses included in the list are gunpoint sexual assault, child sex trafficking, aggravated assault, robbery, rape, torture, kidnapping, sexual abuse of a minor, and possession, and production of child sexual abuse materials." https://www.rawstory.com/trump-immigration-2675035302/

Not a surprise is it 148, as most ice are recruited goons from 1/6, Charlottesville, and various white supremist organizations. They truly are trumps gestopo. There's a "No Kings" protest in March. You can bet the fuhrer will send them there just like he's sending them to Italy and the winter Olympics. When are we all going to say enough is enough?
