An editorial in today's Springfield News-Leader commends Governor Matt Blunt for his decision last week to ban those working in the state's executive branch from accepting lobbyists' gifts.
However, the move did not go far enough, the editorial says, and it also says it is time for the General Assembly to step to the plate and make some meaningful changes in business as usual.
