CNHI, the parent company of the Joplin Globe, added to its portfolio today, buying the Muskogee Phoenix from Gannett, according to the Tulsa World.
The company already owns nine other daily newspapers in Oklahoma- Chickasha, Edmond, Enid, McAlester, Norman, Pryor, Sapulpa, Tahlequah and Claremore.
