Aug. 29 arraignment set in Surface drunk driving case

A 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, arraignment is scheduled for Jasper County Presiding Commissioner Chuck Surface, who was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
The case will be heard by Judge Steve Carlton, who was appointed after Surface's attorney, Charles Genisio asked for a change of judge. The original judge was Joseph Schoeberl, who has earned a reputation over the years as being tough on drunk drivers.
Surface was arrested July 28 by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department. The case is being handled by Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Robert George after Jasper County Prosecutor Dean Dankelson disqualified himself because his office represents the County Commission.

What is with all of these Republicans driving on the wrong side of the road? Judging by current affairs it seems that they have been driving on the wrong side of the road for quite some time.
