Joplin city manager job hunting

Joplin City Manager Mark Rohr is one of 11 candidates in the running for the city manager position in Dayton, Ohio, according to an article in this morning's Dayton Daily News.
City Commissioner Dean Lovelace told the newspaper the top four or five candidates will likely be brought in for interviews in September and a final choice will be made by Oct. 1.
Rohr came to Joplin from Piqua, Ohio, where he had been city manager.

For Joplin's sake, I hope Ohio is foolish enough to take him!

Uh-oh. Time for the Joplin Globe to cue up it's hackneyed "Let's fire him because he's looking for other jobs" Op-Ed. Anytime a City Manager or Police Chief applies anywhere, the Globe campaigns for instant termination.

I wonder if they have that same policy in house?

It looks like you scooped the globe by several hours.
