(From KGCS)On April 8th, Joplin residents will vote for candidates vying for positions on the Joplin School Board. Missouri Southern State University wants voters to be informed so it’s hosting a candidate forum Monday, March 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the Joplin City Council Chambers at Joplin City Hall.
Guests can enter through the West entrance of Joplin City Hall, adjacent to the parking lot. Doors will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Doors at 6th Street and Main Street will be locked. Council Chambers are located on the 5th floor of Joplin City Hall, 602 South Main Street.
Four people are running for two open positions. They include David Weaver, Lori Musser, Thomas Ross and Derek Gander. Each candidate who attends will be given time to introduce themselves and explain why they are running for a school board position. Then each will get to answer six questions. If time permits, questions may be posed by spectators in council chambers.
KGCS-TV will stream the forum live on channel 21 as it does city council meetings, and on the Missouri Southern KGCS Facebook page. KGCS-TV will also record the forum for playback on Tuesday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 2 at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m. The forum will also be posted to our YouTube channel – KGCS Missouri Southern.
KCGS programming can be seen on channel 21 and is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communications at Missouri Southern State University.

Who does CJ support?
Lori and David from the way they have voted and been pushed by the same crowd.
If a tire is flat and the car won't roll right, you change it. You don't elect to keep it on or put it back on.
