Carthage brothers arraigned on assault charges, allegedly shot man 21 times

Carthage brothers Dylan Jay Hershey (left), 23, and Hunter Wayne Hershey, 19, were arraigned today in Jasper County Circuit Court on assault and armed criminal action charges.

The brothers were charged following the shooting of a Carthage man Tuesday. The victim, who was shot 21 times, according to the probable cause affidavit, was last reported to be in critical condition at a Joplin hospital.







Judge Nicole Marie Carlton denied a request for a bond change for the brothers who are being held without bond at the Jasper County Detention Center.

A bond reduction hearing has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. March 12.

All over a truck and now his wife who was leaving him is by his side now. People are gross. She probably encouraged her brothers to do this crap. She's always been a manipulator nd the family is the definition of white trash. Always has been
