KSN crawl equates deaths in Iraq with Brad and Angelina's child

The crawl at the bottom of the screen during the KSN and KODE newscasts annoys me.
That's obviously not the first time I have expressed that opinion and undoubtedly it is here to stay no matter how many viewers it ticks off.
That being said, perhaps those in charge of it might consider employing some method of separating the types of news stories that are shown in the crawl. For instance, KSN carried the headline on the U. S. soldier and two journalists who were killed Monday in Iraq, then without a break went directly into the news that the latest X-Men movie made over $100 million over the weekend, followed by the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby.
To have no transition between the substantive and the frivolous was rather jarring, especially on a Memorial Day newscast. Perhaps KSNF and KODE should consider doing what ESPN does. When its sports ticker is moving from one sport to another, it highlights the sport, then begins showing headlines. The same thing could be done between national news, international news, entertainment news, health news, whatever may come up.
It's just something to consider.

Here's an idea. Maybe Randy could find something legitimate to do with his time instead of ragging on the REAL journalists in our area. You know what they say: those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. Get a life, Randy.

I can handle the crawl when it is news, movie people and their lives do not interest me in theleast and I wish they would stop thinking I cared if they have babies, I do not.

Did you know that Newspapers (even back in the 70's when Randy had a real job at a real, live paper!) put disparate headlines together???
HMMM??? Sometimes bloggers (NOT journalists!) do also!
Sometimes it's about their book of whiny memories next to some political campaign musings that seem to imply impropriety just because there is a question mark placed at the end of the sentence.
There MIGHT be a feature or a picture of some kid in the park on the same page as a death in a car wreck story.
TV ain't going back to 1975, and neither are the newspapers and I do wish that the internet had been put to a better use than your paltry observations.
Go figure out who anonymouse is and leave the rest of the true broadcasting to professionals.

You know anonymous if you don't like this site maybe you could find something to do with YOUR time instead of ragging on a real journalist in our area.
And the comment those who can do and those who can't teach.....who the heck taught you how to read and write? Some of the so called journalists or news reporters in this area are a joke to me and others, I am sure. You are possibly one of the dumber ones.

My name is definitely not Tiffany nor Brad, children.
And thanks for the fabulous tip about using anonymouse! I love it as it keeps nosy bloggers from being soooo curious.
Then I may say what I wish under the anonymous heading and truly be in the shadows.
Excellent!!!
