Granby bank robber compares federal prosecutor to Hitler

Granby's most infamous bank robber, J. R. Embrey, is back in court again.
Today, Embrey, currently serving a 20-year sentence for his participation in the March 11, 1979, robbery of a Southwest City Bank, filed another motion that doesn't seem likely to put him on the right side of federal prosecutor Phillip M. Koppe:

The government's prosecutor, Mr. Phillip M. Koppe, whines because defendant exercises his First Amendment right to access the courts in an attempt to get his unlawful sentence corrected. Evidently, Mr. Koppe, like Hitler, detests the rights of the people, and like Hitler, approves of the illegal imprisoning of citizens and the inhuman treatment of same. However, here in the United States, we have the constitution which is "supposed" to control government officials like Mr. Koppe.

More information about Embrey's case can be found in the May 13 Turner Report.
