It appears former Platte County Auditor Sandra Thomas is gearing up for a second run for state auditor.
According to Missouri Ethics Commission documents, Mrs. Thomas formed a new campaign committee April 27. As with the committee for her unsuccessful run against Susan Montee, this one has Joplin CPA Nick Myers as treasurer and Mrs. Thomas' husband, James Thomas, as deputy treasurer.
The committee is called Sandra Thomas CPA for State Auditor, same as her original committee, and the document indicates she is seeking the GOP nomination for the office, with that election to be held in August 2010.
