A 9 a.m. July 6 hearing is scheduled in Cedar County Circuit Court to check up on her plan to reimburse $100,085 she stole from Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar during her time as finance director of that facility.
It appears this is the ninth time Ms. Schlup's hearing has been rescheduled, according to court records.
Ms. Schlup, 42, entered an Alford plea, meaning she was not pleading guilty, but conceding that there was enough evidence to convict her if the case went to trial.
She was ordered to pay back $100,085 and to pay $46 in court costs. Court records do not show that any payments have been made on either the restitution or the fine since she was sentenced on March 27, 2006.
