“It’s a lot like leaving home,” Snyder said about leaving Blunt’s staff. “It’s bittersweet.”
Snyder said she plans to join Thompson’s campaign by July, when he is expected to formally announce his candidacy. Blunt’s office has not announced a replacement for her.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” she said. “I think he is going to run a very different campaign.”
