Interest in church shooting crashes Neosho Daily site

It appears that the large number of those seeking information about today's shooting at the First Congregational Church in Neosho in which three people were killed and at least three, and likely more, were injured, has crashed the Neosho Daily News website.
In addition to the traffic which would normally gravitate to the Daily website simply because of the location of the shooting, the Kansas City Star offered a link to the Daily on its coverage.

It's very embarrassing that the Neosho Daily News web site would crash, just when people need it the most! Mr. Rogers, please make sure this doesn't happen again.

The Web site is back up and running, and the problem has been fixed with our server. A link was also provided on CNN, which may have also contributed to the problem.
But, immediately after we knew there was an issue, we called TownNews and had it fixed as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Rick Rogers

What is TownNews? Don't you have control over your own web site?
