Turner Report reaches 7,000 posts

This post marks number 7,000 in the history of The Turner Report since its beginning in October 2003.

Thanks to those of you who have encouraged me to continue with the blog. Since those early days when I was lucky to have five readers a day, the blog has now reached the point where it has occasionally topped 1,000 unique readers during a 24-hour period (reaching 1,400 on three occasions according to one of the meters I use to follow readership) and has been averaging more than 500 per day for the past year.

And a big thank you to those who have linked to the blog, helping to increase traffic. Now, it's time to start on number 7,001.
