GateHouse Media continues removing all vestige of Liberty Group Publishing

First, it was Randy Cope, then it was Scott Champion, now it is Gene Hall, whose ties with GateHouse Media have been severed.

A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission today shows Hall, who has been an executive vice president, resigned Thursday:

Hall has forfeited his $50,000 bonus, according to the filing.

Cope's departure was addressed in the Dec. 26, 2007, Turner Report.

Champion's departure (he remained with GateHouse in a lesser role) was covered in the Jan. 13 2009 Turner Report.

Did he cross Gloria's path? She does not like having her path crossed. She does, however, like the firing process and ruining careers.

I just read that Gene Hall bought back the Charles City Press from GateHouse, plus another I believe. I first thought they had probably forced him out, but it looks like he had a plan.

I also heard Rodney Blaukat is leaving GateHouse to run the online operations for Randy Cope at American COnsolidated Media.
