Employees at four Springfield radio stations to receive paycuts

Employees at four Springfield radio stations will receive six percent pay cuts for the remainder of 2009.

Those affected are stations owned by Journal Broadcast Group, a division of Journal Communications- KZRQ 106.7, Power 96.5; KTTS 94.7, and KSGF 104.1.

In exchange for the paycuts, Journal officials are giving employees an additional 10 personal days.

I'd for sure be taking my days off!

If the idiots at the top would limit their intake of salary, I'm sure this would be totally avoidable.

How much is Mr. Doug Kiel (Journal CEO/President) making? Has his salary been cut by 6 percent?
