Hartzler to campaign in Lamar Friday

Former state representative Vicky Hartzler, a GOP candidate for Fourth District Congress, will be at the Blue Top Restaurant in Lamar 3:15 p.m. Friday, according to an itinerary of her two-day listening tour through the district.

According to her campaign's news release:

Declaring this campaign is about bringing jobs back to our communities, jump-starting the economy, and fixing a reckless, deficit-spending Congress, Vicky Hartzler, candidate for Missouri’s Fourth congressional district, announced today a district-wide tour on November 20-21, making official her candidacy. At each stop Vicky will listen to the people’s concerns and offer common sense solutions to get this nation moving forward.

Vicky stated about the tour, “As a life-long resident of this district, former teacher, small business owner, farmer, wife and mother I am concerned about the future of our great nation. I am so excited to be able to continue listening to the people of this great district and to let this campaign give them a way to take back Congress and fix what is broken in Washington.
“I hope everyone will come out to a local business near you to hear about the heartland values and common sense ideas on which our campaign is built. If you want real solutions that will help bring back jobs to Missouri, heal our broken economy, limit Congress’ runaway spending, and lower taxes to jump start real economic growth, then come hear what I have to offer. I hope you’ll be excited to join us in this all-important fight!”
