However, the CBS affiliate in Joplin, is reporting that investigators are searching the home and photography business of a Joplin man. Investigators with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Joplin police are helping APD with the warrants.
The 118th Street investigation investigation began in February 2009 after the bodies of 11 women, including a fetus, were uncovered on the West Mesa. The women had all gone missing between 2003 and 2005, and had some type of connection to prostitution or drugs.

Hunt for serial killer: Albuquerque police may stay in Joplin for two days
Albuquerque television station KRQE reports that police officers from that city may be in Joplin for a couple of days as they continue the hunt for the mass murderer who killed 13 people, including a fetus, and buried them in a mass grave in the West Mesa area.
