In my opinion, Long made a grave mistake. Had he have played the victim of the attack ad and not gone negative while casting a shadow at Nodler and Goodman it would shown his as being above the fray. Now, he is deeper in the mud than any of the rest of the candidates. If Long does not win on Tuesday evening, I think that one can point to the negative campaigning in the last few days as the reason why.

Billy Long thinks he can buy an election with the help of his rich friends, and by spreading manure about his clearly more qualified opponents.
No principles. No ideas. No self-control. No class. Come on southwest Missouri, we have better choices than Mr. Long. We will look like clowns if we send one to represent us.
We don't need a congressman named Billy....can't help but wonder if his middle name is Bob....he acts like a Billy Bob...please don't send this embarrassment to Washington..
Career politicians have to go. How can we expect them to change when they say one thing at home and do another in Jefferson City? They certainly won't get any better in Washington. Billy Long is the only choice!
