Joplin Police Chief to speak at MSSU 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Student Activities Office at Missouri Southern State University will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

The program is to honor and remember the individuals who were killed on September 11, 2001 by terrorists.

“This September 11th we honor and remember those who lost their lives tragically on that horrific day in 2001,” said Darren Fullerton, vice president for Student Affairs.








Chief Matt Stewart of the Joplin Police Department will be the guest speaker.

The ceremony will take place at the Freedom Flag Plaza on the Oval.
