Phil Lewis, long-time Sarcoxie High School principal and a veteran teacher in the R-2 District before becoming an administrator is serving as interim superintendent.
Goddard, who had been superintendent since 2011, came to Sarcoxie after holding the superintendent position in the Eminence School District. Prior to that, he served as intermediate principal in the Zuni School District and as junior high principal in the St. Clair School District.
