La-Z-Boy has brought back approximately 325 of the 700 workers it laid off in March at its Neosho plant, according to a story in this morning's Joplin Globe.
The layoffs occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But last week, the company began shifting back into production.
"We've brought about 40% of employees back. We're working four days a week at Neosho," said Kathy Leibmann, director of investor relations.
