The state of Missouri recorded 13 COVID-19 deaths during a 24-hour period, increasing the state's total to 589, according to statistics released Saturday afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.
Twelve of the 13 deaths were in St. Louis County, which leads the state with 329, followed by St. Louis with 95, St. Charles County 52, Kansas City 18, Jackson County 15, Franklin County 14 and Jefferson County 13.
No new coronavirus cases were reported in local counties with Jasper County still at 19, Newton County 13, Joplin 10, McDonald County 7 and none in Barton County.
