(From Joplin Schools)Thursday's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was the final celebration for our beautiful new Dover Hill Elementary school.
Many hearts and minds spent countless hours working to bring this project to fruition for our students, and we were honored to thank many of them in person.
As principal Bret Ingle said to our guests and students, all of the planning toward Dover Hill's completion was done "with one goal in mind: to bring together the wonderful histories of Columbia and West Central elementary schools in a new space that honors their legacies."
We think this building does that and more, and we are proud that future generations of Joplin students in these neighborhoods will get the full benefit of our community supporting such an endeavor. Thank you to our partners and neighbors! Dover Hill Elementary has begun Learning Today for a Better Tomorrow!
