The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will hold a work session 5 p.m. Monday at the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce building, 320 E. 4th Street.
The preliminary agenda indicates items to be discussed in the session include:
-Attendance program
-Capital outlay
-Debt service analysis
-district calendar
-strategic plan
A closed session is also scheduled for "hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees," according to the agenda.
