Neosho Middle School fifth grade teacher Savannah Roth saved a student's life, according to a post on the Neosho School District Facebook page:
It was brought to her attention that a young man was choking and needed help. She immediately called for help and sent students out of the classroom.
After applying abdominal thrusts, she saved the student from choking. We are so grateful for her and her quick response to this emergency!
Roth is a Carl Junction resident.
