Joplin R-8 posts openings for 13 teachers, administrator, two classified positions

The Joplin R-8 District has posted openings for 16 positions this week including 13 teachers, an administrator and two classified positions.

The following positions have been posted:

-Kindergarten teacher- Royal Heights

-Fifth grade teacher- Royal Heights

-Director of Early Childhood

-Science teacher- Joplin High School (three positions)

-Special education teacher- East Middle School (two positions)

-Secretary to elementary principal- Dover Hill

-Food Service floating substitute

-Special education teacher- Kelsey Norman

-English Language Arts teacher (SPED)- North Middle School

-Special education teacher- Early Childhood

-Special education teacher- McKinley

-Elementary teacher/fifth grade

-Family and consumer science teacher- Joplin High School
