During a hearing in U. S. District Court in Springfield, Mark Comer, 43 changed his plea. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered by Judge David P. Rush.
No date has been scheduled for the sentencing.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the investigation of Comer began when a 13-year-old girl told the Carl Junction Police Department she had been sexually abused multiple times by Comer when she was 10 to 11 years old.
While the Carl Junction police investigated that allegation, it received a report that Comer had molested a 10-year-old boy multiple times.
A search warrant execution revealed a considerable amount of child pornography on Comer's computer, according to the probable cause affidavit.
