AP reports a gunman killed three people at the First Congregational Church in Neosho.
So far, the only media I have seen latch on to this story are KOLR-TV in Springfield, which broke into its programming with a bulletin at about 5 p.m. and Channel 51 in Arkansas, which led off its 5 p.m. news with the story.
At the moment, KOAM is showing the final round of the PGA Open with Tiger Woods, while KODE and KSNF apparently are showing infomercials. KOLR said it has a crew on the way to the scene. Hopefully, our Joplin television stations, a half hour closer, are also on the scene and we will know more before long.
