Lobbyists chip in with $3,500 for Nodler

Registered lobbyists contributed $3,500 to the campaign account of Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, during the third quarter, according to the disclosure report Nodler filed recently with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
The largest of those, $650, came from Lance Beshore, whose duties at Leggett & Platt include lobbying. John Bardgett and Associates contributed $500, Mark Rhoads $350, Brent Hemphill & Associates $250, Gerald Grimaldi $250; The Swain Group $200, and Nodler received $175 from each of the following:
W. E. Shoehigh, Sherry Doctorian, James E. Farrell & Associates, Kyna Iman, Mike Lybyer, and James R. Moody & Associates.
While $3,500 was only a small portion of the $39,006 Nodler received during the third quarter, he also raked in a considerable amount from clients of these lobbyists, as well as contributions from other special interests, including Isle of Capri Casinos, which will be examined in a later post.
