Seventeen oversized Richard contributions came after Supreme Court ruling

Maybe his recipients were just slow in opening their mail, but a check of Missouri Ethics Commission reports shows 17 contributions of $1,000 or more made by Speaker of the House in waiting Ron Richard, R-Joplin, were not received by July 19 when the Missouri Supreme Court reinstated campaign contribution limits. Richard listed most of his over-the-limit contributions to other candidates as being made on July 18, with a few on July 17.
Two candidates, Ward Franz and Mike Sutherland, reported receiving contributions of $1,500 and $2,000 respectively, in late September, more than two months after limits were restored.
Jim Viebrock of Republic, received $2,000 on Aug. 24, according to his disclosure report. Mark Bruns received $1,500 on Aug. 13.
Other late oversized contributions, according to the candidates' Ethics Commission documents went to:

Jim Guest, $1,500, July 23; Larry Wilson, $2,000, July 23; Dennis Wood, $2,000, July 20; Don Ruzicka, July 27, $1,500; Doug Ervin, July 23, $2,000; Mike Thomson, July 24, $1,500; Ray Weter, July 24, $1,500; Wayne Cooper, July 31, $1,500; Sally Faith, July 31, $1,000; Mike Parson, July 24, $1,000; Walt Bivins, July 20, $1,000; Charlie Denison, July 27, $2,000; Charles Schlottach, July 30, $2,000

As noted in the Oct. 16 Turner Report:

In the two days before the July 19 decision restoring contribution limits, Richard made 55 contributions of $1,000 or more, with some as high as $3,500, according to his October disclosure report, filed Monday with the Missouri Ethics Commission. In all, the Richard committee contributed $94,270, according to the report.

Thanks to the Ozarks Politics blog, which gave me the idea to check in to the dates on the Richard contributions after it noted some candidates in the Springfield area, who received the larger contributions after July 19.

Randy, I note that you edited out my comment on school time. This will be reported to you district.

During my planning period, I edited out an obscene, libelous comment that some jerk left on my blog. I am surprised that you would take credit for it. This comment is being written during my lunch period. I make it a habit every day to take a couple of minutes to make sure no one has left profanity or obscene or libelous comments on my blog. Feel free to report me if you wish. But if you are going to get into the habit of leaving that kind of material on the comment section instead of making an actual intelligent comment about the subject matter then I will have to set this blog up where comments have to be approved before they can be published, which would be an inconvenience for everyone.

And as I have noted before, the time on this blog is two hours off, so this is being written at about 12:25 p.m.

Well, I don’t see how any reasonable person could object to a teacher using their planning period to edit their personal blog. What else would one expect a teacher to use a paid planning period for if not to edit their blog?

The material you mention is true as far as I know and you have put up material about our elected officials that has much less factual support. You are a hypocrite. You dish it out but you can't take it, you are a sorry little man. If you are not the same Randy Turner, say so. If you disagree with the characterization of the event say so! Trying to erase it or whitewash it won’t work; it will be on all kinds of other blogs very soon, every one that links to you. If you want to challenge it do so like a man. You may decide you don’t like the blog culture when you are the target!

Randy you know when you were fired it was all over town. People all over Carthage were reporting it and telling it. You and I know that there is more to the story. In your taking down the comment, all of your readers now know that there is a rumor about why you were fired that you have removed form this blog, it sure makes you look guilty to remove it rather than answering it or disproving it. You are just a little coward that wants to keep the rumors about you out of here while proclaiming the right to print rumors about others. What a loser!

A little checking has just confirmed what I already suspected. The person who is posting these comments is our same Nodler supporter.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I just wrote the 2:09 one. So, it looks like your great investigative skills have failed you again.

No one on this post has said a word about Nodler but you Randy Turner. This has nothing to do with Nodler your post is about Ron Richard, My response was about you, and no one said anything about Nodler but you. I have commented on many things besides Nodler, but you have Nodler on the brain, you should see a Doctor about this unhealthy fixation. Look back over this post; it has nothing whatsoever to do with Nodler you are just nuts!

The question is this; is your same Nodler supporter right or wrong? It doesn't matter if he or she is a Nodler supporter, it matters if they are right and your attempt to deflect this to Nodler instead of your own lousy reputation and the reason you were fired at Carthage....and you and I both know why that is , your readers may not because you erased it, but hey when you are in trouble Randy, just take a swipe at Nodler like you did here, what a loser you are!
