Marshall legislator's bill would toughen requirements for group home operators

A bill proposed by Rep. Joe Aull, D-Marshall, would toughen the requirements for those who operate group homes for the mentally ill, preventing someone like Anderson Guest House owner Robert Dupont from taking advantage of the system.
HB 767 calls for requirements for group home owners to be put on the same level as those of state-operated facilities.
One of the co-sponsors of the bill is Rep. Sara Lampe, D-Springfield.
