GateHouse Media stock dropped another 25 cents today, closing at $1.56 per share. In the process, the company hit an all-time low $1.55.
Normally, I mention that GateHouse owns The Carthage Press, Neosho Daily News, Neosho Post, Greenfield Vedette, Big Nickel, and Aurora Advertiser in southwest Missouri, and the Pittsburg Morning Sun in southeast Kansas, but the health of this company is also important all across Missouri. GateHouse owns newspapers in the following communities:
Boonville, Chillicothe, Kirksville,Macon, Mexico, Maryville, Moberly, Brookfield, Camdenton, Rolla, Waynesville, Hannibal, Independence, and St. James, as well as shoppers in other communities, including Columbia.
