Gannett's freefall continued Wednesday as the company's stock dropped 21 cents to $4.75 per share.
It was the fourth day in a row of sizable losses. Gannett stock was trading at $6.90 per share last week when the negative streak began.
Gannett is the parent company of the Springfield News-Leader.
