Reports: Dorman to solo on KODE News
KODE anchor Brian Dorman, who has been performing solo since co-anchor Lauren Hieger left, apparently will continue to do so.
Reports are that as a cost-cutting measure KODE will not replace Miss Hieger.

great move...there's no reason on earth to have two anchors on a local newscast...better to have field reporters...
Actually they are not hiring two new reporters. They are hiring one that was already budgeted for and just not hired. This is a cut in one anchor and the release of a hiring freeze on a reporter position that had been on hold.

If the money is used for that, I am in complete agreement with you.
They are hiring two new reporters in her place.

This is Nexstar we are talking about, not exactly known for miracles in broadcasting or making things better for the viewer.
