Greitens campaign touts Monmouth poll, virtual tie with Koster

(From the Eric Greitens campaign)

With just one week to go before voters make their final decision, the governor's race in Missouri is dead even at 46% for each candidate. A just-released Monmouth poll shows both Chris Koster and Hillary Clinton falling with outsiders Donald Trump and Eric Greitens on the rise.

Greitens' campaign manager Austin Chamber released the following statement, "Voters are rejecting Chris Koster because he's just like Hillary Clinton - crooked and corrupt. He wants to expand Obamacare, so Hillary is spending $500K to try to save his failing campaign."

From Monmouth University:
"The Monmouth University Poll also finds the contest to replace outgoing governor Jay Nixon has narrowed to a tie. Democratic Attorney General Chris Koster has the support of 46% of likely voters and former Navy SEAL Eric Greitens has an identical 46%. Another 2% say they will vote for Libertarian Cisse Spragins. Koster enjoyed a much larger 51% to 40% advantage in August, but that had tightened to 46% to 43% in mid-October."
