House Minority Leader: Governor calls it an educational savings account, I call it a voucher

In the weekly House Minority press availability, Minority Leader Gail McCann Beatty of Kansas City terms the passage of right to work legislation this week as "unfortunate," and expresses concern about the upcoming budget from Gov. Eric Greitens.

Asked about Greitens' comments on education during his State of the State Address, Beatty takes issue with his call for educational savings accounts.

"He calls it an educational savings account; I call it a voucher." Beatty said she is opposed to using public money for private schools.
